WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Mount Union sophomore goalkeeper Leanne Williams (Poland / Poland Seminary) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week (9/15).

Williams helped lead the Raiders to a 1-0-1 week where they gave up zero goals through both games. Williams started the week by recording her second straight shutout of the season in Mount Union's 2-0 win over Geneva, she then followed that up by recording a third consecutive shutout in the Raiders' 0-0 tie. Williams has gone 311 consecutive minutes without giving up a goal.

This is the first time this season and the first time in her career that she has won the award.
