KENT, Ohio— Mount Union's track and field team came away with five victories Friday night at the Jud Logan Memorial meet hosted by Kent State.
Stephen Ulrich won the men's 3,000-Meter run with a time of 8:43.66 while
Jake Kapper finished as the runner-up with a time of 8:48.73.
Zoe Seabeck picked up the victory in the women's 5,000-Meters with a time of 18:47.65 while
Ashley Cooper finished as the runner-up with a time of 18:58.40
Taylor Hennessey won the women's 800-Meter with a time of 2:18.70.
Savannah Dennison finished third in the women's mile race with a time of 5:03.26 which is currently the 17
th best Division III time this year.
Liam Blake won the men's 1,000-Meter run with a time of 2:34.53 while
Matthew Sopchak (2:34.87) and
Austin Hoffman (2:35.68) finished second and third.
The women took the top three spots in the 1,000-Meter run with
Markalla Tumbry winning the race with a time of 3:20.82 while
Noelle Dougherty (3:26.59) and Brooklyn Patrick (3:51.65) took second and third.
Sopchak joined
Dylan Easterling,
Yahir Hill and
Daniel Noronha to finish second in the 4x400-Meter relay with a time of 3:23.51
Jada Ames and
Renee Cicco finished second and third in the 3,000-Meters with times of 11:10.51 and 11:13.58.
Trent Miller and
Jalen Randleman finished second and third in the men's 5,000-Meters with times of 15:33.79 and 15:42.76.
Grant Dawson finished third in the men's high jump while
Angelo Miller finished sixth with leaps of 6-feet 4-inches and 6-feet 2-inches.
Cale Borland finished third in the men's mile race with a time of 4:17.17.
Hennessey teamed up with
Ashley Eberhardt,
Melanie Plecko and Julia Armogida in the women's 4x400-Meter relay finishing third with a time of 4:12.44.
Laney Duff took home fifth in the women's high jump with a leap of 5-feet 4.25-inches.
Josiah Hunter finished sixth overall in the men's 60-Meters running a 6.98.
Mackenzie Davis grabbed sixth in the women's long jump with a leap of 17-feet 9-inches.
Callie Cyrus took home sixth in the women's 400-Meters with a time of 1:01.37.
Ezekiel Dunn finished sixth overall in the men's 400-Meters in a time of 51.57.
Easterling finished sixth overall in the 800-Meters with a time of 1:54.94.
Tomorrow the pole-vaulters and throwers will compete at the Muskie Invite in New Concord, OH hosted by Muskingum University.
