Men's Volleyball: Raiders Fall in Four to No. 7 UC Santa Cruz

ALLIANCE, Ohio—The Mount Union men's volleyball team fell to No. 7 nationally ranked UC Santa Cruz in four sets, 18-25, 26-24, 16-25 and 17-25, Friday night.
 
The Purple Raiders (2-3) were led by Sam Morrison (St. Peters, MO / Fort Zumwalt South) with 10 kills and Michael Bowler (Broadview Heights / Brecksville-Broadview Heights) with nine kills.
 
Justin Peters (Pittsburgh, PA / Canon-McMillan) finished with 27 assists while Peyton Koszelak (Eden, N.Y) had 15 digs and Parker Hanson (Beavercreek) had 10 digs.
 
Santa Cruz (5-0) was led by Riley Norman with 15 kills and 10 digs with Caio Valente finished with 29 digs.
 
Mount Union will travel up to Berea tomorrow to take on St. Norbert at 4 pm and Misericordia at 6 pm.
