ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Mount Union baseball team, under the guidance of 30th-year head coach
Paul Hesse, is receiving votes in the 2026 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Preseason NCAA Division III Coaches Poll.
The Raiders received 27 votes. Mount Union also received votes in the D3baseball.com/National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Preseason Top 25 poll.
The Purple Raiders will play Alfred State in a three-game series starting Saturday, Feb. 14, at 11 a.m. in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mount Union's original season opener in Ashland, Virginia, for this weekend was canceled due to the weather.
