AKRON, Ohio – Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team finished in first place after the second day at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships at Ocasek Natatorium on Friday evening.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 602 which has them 159 points ahead of second place Baldwin Wallace.
All-OAC Finishers
- 200-yard medley relay: team consisting of freshman AJ Sliman (Amherst / Marion L. Steele), sophomore Riley McCombs (New Middletown / Springfield Local), senior Abby Calaway (Berea / Berea-Midpark) and senior Isabelle Parr (Brunswick) won the event with a time of 1:49.03
- Three-meter dive: senior Claire Fried (Kent / Kent Roosevelt) finished third with a score of 310.75
- 100-yard butterfly: Parr won the event with a time of 58.65
- 200-yard freestyle: Calaway won the event for the third straight year with a time of 1:55.46 and freshman Chloe Parr (Brunswick) finished second with a time of 1:59.85
- 100-yard breaststroke: McCombs won the event with a time of 1:05.85
- 100-yard backstroke: freshman Elena Mackall (Salem / Columbiana Exempted Village) finished second with a time of 1:01.35 and Sliman finished third with a time of 1:01.66

The Raiders wrap up the OAC Championships tomorrow at Ocasek Natatorium with prelims beginning at 10 a.m. followed by diving at 2 p.m. and finals at 5:30 p.m.
