KENT, Ohio—The Mount Union women's track and field team competed at the Doug Raymond Invitational Friday and Saturday this past weekend.
Liam Blake,
Dylan Easterling,
Cale Borland and Josiah Adams teamed up in the distance medley relay finishing third overall with a time of 10:11.60 which is fourth in Division III currently.
Easterling competed with
Dane Riley,
Thurston Shaw and
Matthew Sopchak for a second place finish in the 4x400-Meter relay with a time of 3:24.94.
Adams finished second in the 400-Meters with a time of 49.27.
Grant Dawson finished fifth overall in the high jump with a leap of 6-feet 4.75-inches.
Marek France and Zach Shawala finished fifth and sixth overall in the mile with times of 4:22.14 and 4:22.41.
Cohen Boyce and
Jake Kapper finished fifth and sixth in the 3,000-Meter race running times of 8:46.01 and 8:47.61.
Rhon Bruce took home sixth in the long jump with a jump of 22-feet 9-inches.
Josiah Hunter was the top Division III athlete in the 60-Meter race with a time of 6.97.
Levi Mullen Zurbrugg was second among Division III athletes in the shot put with a toss of 50-feet 1.25-inches.
Easterling also ran the 800-Meters running a 1:54.21 which was the second best Division III athlete.
Mount Union will now head to Westerville next weekend to compete at the All-Ohio Championship.
