Caleb Laurich (Akron / Copley) and sophomore
Jack Dunbar (McMurray, Pa. / Peters Township) have both been named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District®.
Laurich is an Accounting and Finance major with a 3.94 GPA. He played and started in 26 games for the Purple Raiders this season, averaging 6 points and 5.7 rebounds per game, he also ranked third on the team in blocks with 16 on the season.
Dunbar is a Sport Business major with a 3.63 GPA. He played in all 27 games for Mount Union this season, he averaged 4.3 points per game and ranked third on the team with 22 steals on the season.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
