Women's Basketball: Mason, Conroy, Evanich and Ferancy Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Mount Union juniors Elizabeth Mason (Alliance / Marlington) and Tess Conroy (Valley View / Cuyahoga Heights) along with sophomores Chelsea Evanich (Alliance / Marlington) and Kayla Ferancy (Amherst / Amherst Steele) have been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Women's Basketball Team.
 
Mason played in all 27 games and started 26 games for Mount Union. She was the top scorer (12.1 ppg) and rebounder (6.7 rpg) on the season and was named First Team All-OAC. Mason is a Biochemistry major with a 4.00 GPA. This is Mason's second straight CSC All-District award.
 
Conroy played in all 27 games for Mount Union. Conroy averaged 6.1 points on the season. Conroy is a Human Development and Family Science major with a 3.82 GPA. This is Conroy's second straight CSC All-District award.
 
Evanich played in all 27 games and started 26 games for Mount Union. Evanich averaged 8.2 points and 3.8 rebounds on the season. Evanich is a Mathematics and Data Science/Analytics major with a 3.89 GPA.
 
Ferancy played in all 27 games and started two games for Mount Union. Ferancy averaged 4.6 points on the season. Ferancy is an Accounting major with a 4.00 GPA.
 
Mason was also advanced to the CSC Academic All-America Ballot where members of the CSC will vote on the national ballot.
 
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
 
 Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid April. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages.
 
 The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
