ADA, Ohio—The Mount Union men's lacrosse team fell on Saturday 18-4 to Ohio Northern in Ohio Athletic Conference play.
The Purple Raiders (7-7, 3-4 OAC) were led by
Spencer Logsdon with two goals.
Sly Sundown and
Talon Osmun each scored a goal for Mount Union as well.
William Entner made 10 saves in the game for the Raiders.
Ohio Northern (10-6, 6-1 OAC) was led by Jack Chaney and Nathan Flynn with three goals each. Peyton Lich made seven saves in goal for Ohio Northern.
Ohio Northern outscored Mount Union 6-1 in the first quarter as Logsdon got the only Mount Union goal in the quarter.
After two goals from Ohio Northern, Logsdon got his second goal of the game as Mount Union trailed 8-2. Ohio Northern tacked on two more goals taking a 10-2 halftime lead.
Ohio Northern outscored Mount Union 4-0 in the third quarter but Mount Union held its own in the fourth quarter as Sundown and Osmun got a goal each while Ohio Northern finished with four in the quarter.
Mount Union will finish the regular season on Wednesday heading to New Concord, Ohio taking on Muskingum at 7 pm.
