WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Mount Union sophomore Emma Reemsnyder (Canton / GlenOak) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week (4/20).

Reemsnyder had a great week in the circle for the Purple Raiders, winning both of her starts in complete game efforts. She gave up just one run in a complete game effort in Friday's 7-1 win over Heidelberg and then followed that up with a complete game shutout against Wooster on Sunday, allowing just three hits and striking out five.

This is the first time this season and in her career that Reemsnyder has won the award.
