ALLIANCE, Ohio— Mount Union's track and field hosted the Mount Union Classic on Thursday afternoon and got to honor its graduating seniors in the middle of the meet.
The meet was cancelled for the final three events of the night in the 200-Meters, 5000-Meters and 4x400-Meter Relay due to weather.
Madeline Burgess won the women's triple jump with a jump of 26-feet 3-inches with teammate
Lily Polk finishing fifth with a leap of 32-feet .75-inches.
Mackenzie Davis grabbed second in the women's long jump with a leap of 18-feet 9.75-inches which ties her best jump of the season which is tied for 14
th in Division III.
Colton Hanlon was the runner-up in the men's pole vault with a leap of 15-feet 8.25-inches.
Ryan Schnering finished second in the men's javelin with a toss of 155-feet 9-inches.
Laney Duff grabbed second overall in the women's high jump leaping 5-feet 1.75-inches.
Stephen Ulrich finished third overall in the men's 1,500-Meter with a time of 3:58.64.
Grant Dawson grabbed third in the men's high jump with a leap of 6-feet 4.75-inches.
Daniel Noronha finished fourth in the men's triple jump with a leap of 40-feet 11-inches.
Elizabeth Funkhouser grabbed fifth in the women's 400-Meter hurdles with a time of 1:08.23.
Maddie Eldridge finished fifth in the women's long jump with a leap of 17-feet 9.5-inches.
Annalyse Ames grabbed fifth with a leap of 10-feet 6.25-inches in the women's pole vault.
Mount Union now turns its attention to he Ohio Athletic Conference Championships next week on Thursday and Friday in New Concord, Ohio hosted by Muskingum University.
