ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union's softball team will host UMass Dartmouth in the NCAA Division III Tournament Super Regional on Thursday, May 21 and Friday, May 22 in a best of three series. 

The Purple Raiders are 33-7 on the season and went 15-1 in Ohio Athletic Conference play, winning the OAC Regular Season Championship before earing an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament. Mount Union hosted a regional where they defeated Christopher Newport in the Regional Championship game to advance to their first Super Regional in program history.

The Corsairs are 33-11 on the season and won the Little East Conference Tournament to earn an automatic bid into this season's NCAA Tournament. UMass Dartmouth knocked off WPI in the Regional Championship and advance to their first Super Regional in program history.

The two teams will face off on Thursday, May 21 at 2 p.m. in game one of a best of three series, game two will take place on Friday, May 22 at 1 p.m. and if needed game three would also be on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
