ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's women's soccer team defeated Albion 1-0 on Wednesday evening at Kehres Stadium.
The Purple Raiders (3-3) found the game winner in the 19th minute of the game when junior
Rylee Hutton (Salem) was able to find the back of the net.
The Britons (4-3) wasn't able to find an answer as Mount Union junior goalkeeper
Leanne Williams (Poland / Poland Seminary) earned her second shutout of the season making three saves.
The Raiders are on the road again next when they travel to Oberlin next Saturday, September 26 at 1 p.m.
