ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union men's soccer fell at home 2-1 against Wisconsin Platteville on Sunday afternoon at Kehres Stadium.
Wisconsin-Platteville (1-1-1) would strike first, taking a 1-0 lead in the 9th minute.
The Purple Raiders (1-1-1) answered with a goal of their own in the 23rd minute as junior
Jakob Sacher (Buffalo NY / Nichols) found the back of the net off an assist from senior
Dom Kustura (Willowick / Eastlake North).
The Pioneers would claim a goal in the 78th minute, taking the lead once again.
Mount Union would not be able to answer over the final 12 minutes of the game as the Pioneers would go on to win 2-1.
The Raiders travel to Lexington KY where they take on the Transylvania Pioneers on Saturday, September 12 at 1 PM.
