(ALLIANCE, OH)-Mount Union College's women's soccer team won its third-straight game with a 1-0 win over Grove City (PA) College Saturday at Mount Union Stadium.
After starting the season 0-4-1, Mount Union is now 3-4-1 overall while Grove City falls to 3-4-2 overall.
The lone goal in the game came off of the foot of Deirdre Dick (Mansfield/Crestview) with an assist from Alyssa Flitcraft (Alliance/Marlington) at the 22nd minute of the first half. The defense and goal keeper Kaitlyn Mallernee would keep the wolverines at bay for the rest of the game to maintain the shutout victory 1-0.
The Purple Raiders' next contest will be on Wednesday, October 1 at 5 p.m. at Hiram College.
