Dave Pellerite (Olmsted Falls/Olmsted Falls) had 15 points and 10 rebounds, Matt Weir (New Castle, PA/Mohawk) had 13 points, Jimmy Wood (Winterville/Indian Creek) and Ben Hodkinson (Tippecanoe/Harrison Central) each had 12 while Matt Wier (Williamstown, WV/Williamstown) came off the bench with 10 points as Mount Union evened its record at 2-2 on the season.

Hiram got 10 points and a game high 17 rebounds from Babajide Eniola and 13 points from Chris Roberts as the Terriers fell to 1-2 on the season.

The Raiders jumped out to an 11-2 lead to start the game and never looked back as a three-pointer by Pellerite made the score 42-23 with 1:22 left in the half and Mount Union took a 42-25 lead into the lockers.

The second half was more of the same as Hiram got no closer than 13 points the rest of the way.

Mount Union begins OAC play next Wednesday at 7:30 pm at home against Marietta.
