Mitchell capped off the game's opening drive with a 14-yard scamper for a touchdown as the Raiders took a 7-0 lead which was the score at the end of the first quarter.

The second play of the second quarter was a one-yard Nemeth run that finished off a 13-play, 93-yard drive which put Mount Union up 14-0.  After a Northern punt, Scott took off on a 53-yard run that extended the lead to 21-0.

Later in the quarter, Mount Union committed its first turnover of the season when Darnell Bloom intercepted a Scott pass but on Northern's ensuing possession Jones got his first interception of the year and returned it 38 yards for a score to make it 28-0.

The Raiders defense held Ohio Northern to three first downs, nine rushing yards and 60 total yards in the half.

Mount Union scored on its first possession of the second half when Jake Antel (Lakewood/Lakewood) booted a 30-yard field goal which made the score 31-0.  Nemeth ran his second touchdown of the day right before the end of the quarter and extra point was no good leaving the score 37-0 at the end of the third.

The Raiders made it 44-0 on its first drive of fourth quarter as Jamal Johnson (New Philadelphia/New Philadelphia) rushed it in from five yards out. Johnson scored another TD from 10 yards out to finish the scoring.
