ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Mount Union women's soccer team fell to Otterbein on senior night 2-0.

Otterbein (10-6-1, 6-2-1) jumped out to an early lead in the 25^th minute as Jilian Strimbu headed in a goal off of a freekick from Alex Ancona to put the Cardinals up 1-0.

The Cardinals struck again in the 75^th minute as Erica Meier dribbled around defenders and found the back of the net to put Otterbein up 2-0.

Otterbein outshot the Purple Raiders 16-9 and also tallied more corners in the game with 7 to Mount Union's one.  

With this loss, Mount Union will not make an appearance in the OAC Tournament and finish the season 8-10 overall and 4-5 in OAC play.
