ALLIANCE, Ohio - Mount Union's women's lacrosse team remains undefeated on the season after a 15-9 win over Oberlin on Saturday at Mount Union Stadium.

The Purple Raiders (4-0) were led by Susie Kraus (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) who scored four goals and added an assist in the win. Emily Sendker (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster Central) and Katherine Doraty (Medina/Medina) each found the back of the net three times to help the Raider offense.

Nikki Bonaduce (Kennett Square, Pa/Unionville) played all 60 minutes in goal for the Raiders and made eight saves.

Oberlin (2-1) was led by Grace Barlow who netted a team-high three goals. Alexa L'Insalata stopped five of Mount Union's 20 shot attempts in the loss.

Kraus got Mount Union on the board first with her first goal at the 28:47 mark in the first half. Oberlin tied the game at a goal apiece in the next two minutes before Sendker scored back-to-back goals to give the Raiders a 3-1 lead.

The Yeowomen came back to tie the game at 5-5 with 3:04 left in the half but Marjie McNamara (Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park) and Doraty both scored in the last three minutes to give Mount Union a 7-5 lead at the half.

Mount Union's lead was trimmed to one before the Raiders took control of the game for good with eight of the game's next 10 goals. 

Oberlin scored the last goal of the game to make the final score 15-9.

The women's lacrosse team plays their first road game of the season on Tuesday, March 17 against Thiel (Pa.) at 7:00 pm in Greenville, Pa.
