ALLIANCE, Ohio-- Mount Union's softball team dropped a pair of games-- 8-0 in five innings and 11-2-- to Muskingum in an Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader Tuesday at 23rd Street Field in Alliance.

The Fighting Muskies (17-15, 8-6 OAC) held the Raiders scoreless in the first game earning four runs in the third inning, with two coming off a two-run home run, then added three more runs in the fifth inning to end the game 8-0 in five innings.

In game two, Muskingum earned another four-run fourth inning taking a 6-0 advantage over the Purple Raiders (11-17, 4-10 OAC).

Mount Union got on the board in the bottom of the fourth inning as Jordan Kramer (Mentor/Mentor) hit a single bunt then scored on two passed balls.

Muskingum kept the bats moving adding four more runs in the seventh inning leading to the eventual 11-2 victory over the Raiders.

Mount Union travels to Baldwin Wallace for thei final road game on Saturday, April 18 at 1 pm in Berea.
