ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union women's soccer team defeated Wilmington 2-0 in an Ohio Athletic Conference contest Saturday evening at Mount Union Stadium.

Junior Danielle Rohrman (Olney, Md./Sherwood) recorded her first goal of the season while junior Lauren Beech (Hanoverton/United Local) collected her fifth goal of the season.

Wilmington drops to 8-3, 2-1 OAC with the loss.

Rohrman tallied her goal in the 25th minute of a cross from Nicole Lanese to start the Purple Raider scoring.

Beech doubled the Purple Raider lead in the 87th minute off a rebound ball in the box.

Freshman Michelle Kissane (Amherst/Marion L. Steele) made seven saves in net. 

Mount Union travels to New Concord, Ohio to face Muskingum on Wednesday, October 10 at 7 p.m.
