TIFFIN, Ohio – Mount Union finished the regular season as the only undefeated team in NCAA Division III after a 22-2 win at Heidelberg in an Ohio Athletic Conference game Saturday in Tiffin.

The win moved the Purple Raiders to 15-0 overall and 8-0 in the OAC, secured the fifth straight OAC regular season title and they will be the top seed in next week's OAC Tournament hosting No. 4 seed Baldwin Wallace in a semifinal game Wed., May 2 at 7 p.m. at Mount Union Stadium.

Mount Union got five goals from Danielle Rohrman (Olney, Md. / Sherwood) and Ashley Bernardi (Medina). Bernardi, who also had two assists, finished with seven points and ended the regular season with a school single-season record 111 points.

Heidelberg (6-9, 2-6 OAC) avoided the shutout with a goals from Jen Kovarik and Anna Winnicki.

Mount Union scored four times in the first 10 minutes, went up 10-0 at the 13:29 mark and took a 16-0 lead into halftime.
