Women's Lacrosse: Rohrman Breaks Career Goals Record In Win Over Kalamazoo (Mich.)

ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union women's lacrosse team beat Kalamazoo (Mich.) 22-7 Saturday afternoon at Mount Union Stadium.

Senior Danielle Rohrman (Olney, Md. / Sherwood) broke the school record for goals in a career when she scored 10 minutes into the game to give her 203 goals. She finished with three goals on the day.

Mackenzie Pensyl (Hudson) led the Purple Raiders (3-0) in scoring with six goals on the day while Sydney Bumbarger (Newbury Park, Cali.) finished the day with four goals.

Pensyl scored four times and Rohrman scored three times in a first half that saw Mount Union jump out to a 15-3 halftime lead.

Mount Union outscored the Hornets (3-2) 7-4 in the second half for the 22-7 final.

Molly McGinnis (Brunswick) played the first half and got the win in goal for the Raiders.

Mount Union next plays Wednesday, Mar. 18 at 5 p.m. at Oberlin.
