No. 4 seed Mount Union hosts No. 5 seed Marietta in the quarterfinals of the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Tournament Tuesday at 5 p.m. in Timken Gymnasium in Alliance.

The Purple Raiders (8-4) enter the tournament on an OAC-best eight-game win streak which includes a pair of wins against Marietta -- 74-68 at Marietta on Feb. 19 and 73-66 at Mount Union on Feb. 20.
Marietta (6-6) split a pair of games with Capital last weekend and the Pioneers have lost four of their last six games.
The two teams are among the top scoring teams in the OAC as Marietta is second at 77.8 points per game and Mount Union is third at 77.1 points per game.
Mount Union senior Elena Rauhe (Seven Hills / Padua Francsican) leads the Raiders and is fourth in the OAC in scoring at 17.5 points per game and also tops the conference in steals per game at 2.4. Sophomore Emma Cannon (Dalton) is team's top rebounder at 5.8 per game and junior Corenna Maynard (Chagrin Falls / Kenston) leads the team with 2.5 assists per game.
Marietta freshman Olivia Gribble leads the Pioneers in scoring at 11.1 points per game, sophomore Erin Hahn, a Louisville native, is third in the conference with a team-best 8.8 rebounds per game while freshman Hannah Schill is fifth in the OAC at 2.8 assists per game.
OAC Tournament History
It is the 32nd OAC Tournament appearance for Mount Union as the Raiders have a 29-26 record and won titles in 1998, 2011, 2012 and 2016.
Marietta is making its 26th OAC Tournament appearance with a 6-25 record in tournament games and the Pioneers won the title in 2018.
Mount Union and Marietta have met just two previous times in the tournament, both in the quarterfinals and the teams have split those two meetings.

The winner advances to Thursday's semifinals and the OAC will make the matchups based on seeds of the remaining teams. The highest remaining seed will host the lowest remaining seed while the the other two teams left will matchup with the highest seed team hosting that matchup.
Coaches
Suzy Venet (Mount Union '98) is 264-157 (.627) in her 16th season at her alma mater. She has led the Raiders to four OAC Tournament titles, two OAC regular season titles with four trips to the NCAA Tournament including making it to the Sweet 16 in 2010 and 2012. She has 275 career coaching wins including a season as head coach at Manchester (Ind.) and also had assistant coaching stints at Minnesota State and Bowling Green.
Kole Vivian (Wisconsin-Stevens Point '08) is 78-46 (.639) and has led the Pioneers to a finish in the top half of the conference in each of his five seasons as head coach. In 2017-18, he led Marietta to a 24-5 record with an OAC Tournament title and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. He was the 2018 OAC and Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year.
