WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. –
Tanner Slack (New Concord / John Glenn) posted a mark of 6-feet 9-inches finishing second and earned All-American honors in the men's high jump Saturday at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships at the JDL Fast Track.
Slack, who recorded a mark of 6-feet, 9-inches, was one of two Purple Raiders to earn All-American honors in the event as teammate
Evan Hershberger (Dalton) placed fourth with a mark of 6-feet 7.75-inches. This is Slack's second National Runner-Up as he finished second last year in the Outdoor Championships while this is a first for Hershberger.
Matthew McBride (Conneaut) raced to an All-American honor in the 400-meters placing sixth with a time of 49.04. This being the third All-American honor in his career.
Brody Coleman (Knox. Pa / Keystone) finished 15th with a leap of 46-feet 1.25-inches.
Elijah Cobb (Mansfield / St. Peter) placed 10th in the high jump with a mark of 6-feet, 6.75-inches.
