Mount Union senior swimmer Aurelia Incristi (Rockwall, Texas) has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America At-Large Second Team.

Incristi was a 12-time All-OAC swimmer who won two event titles as a four-year letterwinner on the Purple Raiders' women's swimming and diving team. In 2020, she won the OAC's 50-yard freestyle title and was the first Mount Union female to win the event since 2013. She came back and won the 100-freestyle title in 2021.

Out of the pool, she had a 4.0 grade point average as a Biochemistry and Pre-Medicine major. She was a three-time Academic All-OAC selection, been part of the honors program and been a presidential scholar at Mount Union. She has been involved in the Alpha Xi Delta society, a member of the American Chemical Society, a Raiders Rise Peer Coach and a Chemistry Lab Teaching Assistant.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 on a scale of 4.00, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at his current institution and be nominated by his sports information director.

Mount Union assistant athletic director Leonard Reich has served on CoSIDA's Academic All-America national committee since 2002.

Since the program's inception in 1952, CoSIDA has bestowed Academic All-America honors on more than 15,000 student-athletes in Divisions I, II, III and NAIA, covering all NCAA championship sports.
