ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's women's golf team finished in first place at the Fall Phipps Memorial at Alliance Country Club on Monday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 350, which was 22 strokes ahead of second place Malone.
Freshman
Kamil Stephens (Marblehead / Danbury) led Mount Union with an 84, which also earned her a first-place finish and her first career medalist honors. Juniors
Madison Gruber (Louisville) and
Mattie Muckleroy (North Canton / Hoover) also both carded rounds in the 80s, shooting 87 and 89 respectively. Freshman
Amanda Fedor (Uniontown / Lake) rounded out the Raiders team score, finishing with a 90.
