WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Mount Union freshman pitcher Kendyll Cahill (Columbus / Grove Port Madison) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week (3/13).

Cahill threw a perfect game in her first collegiate start in Mount Union's season opening 1-0 win over Husson, she struck out 11 of the 21 batters that she faced in that game. Cahill would finish the Purple Raiders' Florida trip with a 4-1 record, a 0.82 ERA, giving up just four runs in five starts. She also recorded 37 strikeouts and held opponents to a .202 batting average.

This is the first time in Cahill's career that she has won the award.
