LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Mount Union freshman pitcher Kendyll Cahill (Columbus / Grove Port Madison) has been named the National Fastpitch Coaches' Association Division III Pitcher of the Week (3/14).

Cahill threw a perfect game in her first collegiate start in Mount Union's 1-0 season opening win over Husson. In that game she struck out 11 of the 21 batters that she faced. Cahill finished the Raiders' Florida trip with a 4-1 record, throwing five complete games, with a 0.82 ERA. She also struck out 37 batters and held opponents to a .202 batting average.

Cahill was also named the Ohio Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week earlier this week.
