Grace Heath (Beloit / West Branch) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Hitter of the Week and freshman
Kendyll Cahill (Grove Port / Grove Port Madison) has been named the OAC Pitcher of the Week (5/8).
Heath and Cahill helped lead the Raiders to a 3-1 week, which included a sweep of Muskingum to win the OAC Regular Season Title and a split with No. 3 nationally ranked Case Western. Heath went 7-of-12 at the plate last week, with two doubles, a triple and two RBIs, as well as three stolen bases. Cahill won all three of her starts last week, including two complete game wins over Muskingum and a complete game win over No. 3 Case Western. She finished with an ERA of 1.64 on the week, giving up just five runs, four earned and recording 13 strikeouts over 22 innings of action.
This is the first time this season and the fifth time in her career that Heath has won the award and this is the third time in her career and this season that Cahill has won the award.
