Box Score PORTLAND, Oregon—Senior
Katie Clark (Hudson / Walsh Jesuit) became the Mount Union women's lacrosse all-time leader in assists with 120 passing Ashley Bernardi on Friday night in a 25-9 win over Lewis & Clark.
Clark found junior
Mackenzie Kolstad (Victor, N.Y. / Victor Senior) in the third quarter to set the record for assists.
The Purple Raiders (4-0) were led by Kolstad with seven goals and an assist. Sophomore
Ella Nejad (Rocky River) finished with six goals while Clark had five goals and two assists.
Senior
Eden Kesler (Chagrin Falls / Kenston) finished with three goals and two assists while grad student
Britta Treu (Auburn Township / Kenston) finished with two goals and three assists. Junior
Emily Funk (Strongsville) and senior Isabella Robtain (Brecksville / Brecksville-Broadview Heights) each scored a goal for the Raiders as well.
Tara Santoro (Canfield) finished with three ground balls while
Abby Lindkvist (Greenlawn, N.Y. / Harborfields) was in goal for the win.
Lewis & Clark (0-6) currently are in their inaugural season had four different girls score two goals each while Zoey Hamel-Hyland was in goal for the loss.
The Raiders end their spring break with a 2-0 record and will now head back to Alliance as they get ready for a match up next Saturday in Oberlin at noon.
