WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Mount Union sophomore pitcher Kendyll Cahill (Grove Port / Grove Port Madison) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week (4/1).

Cahill helped lead the Purple Raiders to a 4-2 week last week, including a 2-0 start to OAC play. In her three starts she recorded a 1.56 ERA, held opponents to a .177 batting average and had 16 strikeouts, including a run where she struck out eight straight batters against Thiel.

This is the first time this season and the fifth time in her career that she has won the award.
