HUDSON, Ohio – Mount Union's women's golf team finished in first place at the John Carroll Spring Invitational at the Country Club of Hudson on Sunday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 334 which was 27 strokes ahead of second place John Carroll.
Senior
Jocelyn Troyer (Sugarcreek / Garaway) led Mount Union with a 78 and also earned Medalist honors. Freshman
Kamil Stephens (Marblehead / Danbury) carded an 83, while junior
Madison Gruber (Louisville) and freshman
Emma Packard (Ashland) rounded out the Raiders team score, shooting an 84 and 89 respectively.
The Raiders return to action on Friday, May 3 for the first round of the Ohio Athletic Conference Championship at River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette,
Ohio.
