MARSHALL, Mich. – Mount Union's women's golf team finished in second place after the first round of the Kyle Campbell Memorial Tournament at Medalist G.C. on Friday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 312 which is just seven strokes behind first place Trine who leads the event with a team score of 305.
Senior
Jocelyn Troyer (Sugracreek / Garaway) led the way for Mount Union, finishing with a 73 which has her in a tie for first place. Sophomore
Emma Packard (Ashland) also sits in the top 10 as an individual after carding a 77. Sophomore
Amanda Fedor (Uniontown / Lake) and sophomore
Kamil Stephens (Marbelhead / Danbury) rounded out the Raiders team score shooting 80 and 82 respectively.
The Raiders return to action tomorrow for the second round of the Kyle Campbell Memorial Tournament at The Medalist G.C. in Marshall, Mich.
