WOOSTER, Ohio – Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team finished in second place after the final day of the Wooster Invitational on Saturday evening.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 1405 which was 198 points ahead of third place Frostburg State. Wooster won the event with a team score of 1628.5.
Top Finishers
- Three-meter dive: senior Claire Fried (Kent / Kent Roosevelt) won the event with a score of 302.80
- 100-yard freestyle: senior Abby Calaway (Berea / Berea-Midpark) won the event with a time of 52.65 and senior Isabelle Parr (Brunswick) finished third with a time of 53.54
- 200-yard breaststroke: sophomore Riley McCombs (New Middletown / Springfield Local) finished third with 2:30.78
- 400-yard freestyle relay: team consisting of McCombs, freshman Chloe Parr (Brunswick), freshman Tanya Hensley (Oregonia / Lebanon) and Calaway finished second with a time of 3:42.53
