FINDLAY, Ohio – Mount Union's women's golf team finished in a tie for first after the first round of the Heidelberg Fall Invitational at Fostoria C.C. on Friday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 317 which was tied with Hope for first overall and is one stroke ahead of third place Calvin.
Junior
Emma Packard (Ashland) led the way for Mount Union, carding a 76 which puts her in third place overall. Fellow juniors
Amanda Fedor (Uniontown / Lake) and
Kamil Stephens (Marblehead / Danbury) both shot a 79 to also finish in the top 10. Freshman
Mya Downing (Dover) rounded out the Raiders team score with an 83.
The Raiders are in action again tomorrow for the final round of the Heidelberg Fall Invitational at Fostoria C.C. in Findlay.
