NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team swept a double dual on Saturday, beating Westminster 196-87 and beating Franciscan 243-25.
Top Finishers
- 200-yard medley relay: team consisting of senior Abby Calaway (Berea / Berea-Midpark), sophomore Riley McCombs (New Middletown / Springfield Local), senior Isabelle Parr (Brunswick) and freshman Chloe Parr (Brunswick) won the event with a time of 1:58.05
- 1650-yard freestyle: freshman Rydell Reif (Buffalo, N.Y. / Sweet Home) won the event with a time of 19:21.05, while freshman Grace Blachly (Powell / Olentangy Liberty) and sophomore Peyton Sisler (Warren / Howland) finished second and third with times of 19:31.56 and 19:46.61 respectively
- 200-yard freestyle: Parr, C. finished second with a time of 2:04.56
- 100-yard backstroke: freshman AJ Sliman (Amherst / Marion L. Steele) won the event with a time of 1:07.70
- 100-yard breaststroke: junior Julia Basista (Boardman) won the event with a time of 1:19.48 and senior Olivia Smith (Cuyahoga Falls) finished second with a time of 1:19.48
- 200-yard butterfly: Parr, I. finished second with a time of 2:30.15
- 50-yard freestyle: Calaway won the event with a time of 25.61
- One-meter dive: senior Claire Fried (Kent / Kent Roosevelt) won the event with a score of 208.35 and freshman Findlay Hollinger finished second with a score of 158.25
- 100-yard freestyle: Parr, I. won the event with a time of 58.88 and Reif finished second with a time of 59.37
- 200-yard backstroke: Sliman finished second with a time of 2:23.51
- 200-yard breaststroke: Basista won the event with a time of 2:44.43 and sophomore Hannah Royer (Bristow, Va. / Patriot) finished second with a time of 2:48.07
- 500-yard freestyle: McCombs finished second with a time of 5:35.43
- 100-yard butterfly: Calaway won the event with a time of 1:01.33 while senior Kayla Stewart (Marietta) and sophomore Lizzie Sonntag (Amherst / Marion L. Steele) finished second and third with times of 1:06.42 and 1:08.21 respectively
- Three-meter dive: Fried won the event with a score of 222.80
- 200-yard individual medley: McCombs won the event with a time of 2:21.54
- 400-yard freestyle relay: team consisting of Royer, freshman Tanya Hensley (Oregonia / Lebanon), senior Jordyn Miller (Strongsville) and Parr, I. won the event with a time of 4:01.64 while the team consisting of Smith, Sliman, Blachly and Reif finished second with a time of 4:01.83
