WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Mount Union junior Elizabeth Mason (Alliance / Marlington) has been named Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week (2/23).
 
Mason scored 17 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and had five assists while powering Mount Union past Capital in a 72-41 victory which clinched the 3-seed in the OAC Women's Basketball Tournament this week.
 
This is the first time this season and third time in Mason's career that she has won the award.
 
Mount Union will take on Marietta tomorrow Tuesday, February, 23^rd at 7pm at home in the OAC Quarterfinals.
