PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. – Mount Union's women's golf team finished in 14
th place following the first round of the UC Santa Cruz Invitational at Pacific Grove C.C. on Saturday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 347 which was three strokes behind 13
th place UC Santa Cruz. George Fox and Claremont Mudd-Scripps lead the event with a team score of 305.
Junior
Emma Packard (Ashland) led the way for Mount Union, carding an 84. Juniors
Larisa Golembiewski (Macedonia / Nordonia) and
Amanda Fedor (Uniontown / Lake) also both carded rounds in the 80s, shooting 86 and 87 respectively, while junior
Kamil Stephens (Marblehead / Danbury) rounded out the Raiders team score with a 90.
The Raiders are back in action again tomorrow for the final round of the UC Santa Cruz Invitational at Pacific Grove C.C. in Pacific Grove, Calif.
