CANONSBURG, Pa. – Mount Union's men's golf team finished in first place at the Peter C. Rossin Memorial Invitational, hosted by Washington and Jefferson at South Pointe G.C. on Monday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 329 which was six strokes ahead of second place Pitt-Greensburg.
Junior
Brian Myers (Wadsworth) led the way for Mount Union and won medalist honors after shooting a 74. Freshmen
Austin Wilhoit (Stow / Stow-Munroe Falls) and
Jase Libb (Beloit / West Branch) both carded an 84, while freshman
Vincent Borros (Strongsville) shot an 87 to round out the Raiders team score.
The Raiders are back in action on Monday, April 20 for the Baldwin Wallace Spring Invitational at Columbia Hills C.C. in Columbia Station, Ohio.
