COLUMBIA STATION, Ohio – Mount Union finished in first place at the Baldwin Wallace Spring Shootout at Columbia Hills C.C. on Monday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 291 which was seven strokes ahead of second place Heidelberg.
Sophomore
Vincent Borros (Strongsville) led the way for Mount Union after carding a 1-under, 70 to earn medalist honors. Freshman
Austin Wilhoit (Stow / Stow-Munroe Falls) also finished in the top five, carding a 72, while freshman
Austin Mariani (Kinsman / Badger) and junior
Brian Myers (Wadsworth) rounded out the Raiders team score with a 74 and 75 respectively.
The Raiders return to action on Friday, April 24 for the first round of the Ohio Athletic Conference Championship at River Greens G.C. in West Lafayette, Ohio.
