#10 Men's Track & Field Tunes Up at Kent State Tune-Up

KENT, Ohio -- Mount Union's men's indoor track and field team, ranked No. 10 in the nation, had five season bests and won two events at the Kent State Tune-Up Saturday in Kent.

Sophomore Clay Densmore (Madison/Madison) claimed a win in the men's pole vault with a season-best mark of 15-3 while junior Sam Ludgood (Webster, N.Y./Webster Schroeder) won the long jump (23-2).

Freshman Rory Juhn (Fairview Park/Fairview) who finished second in high jump (6-9) and is currently seventh-best in the nation, while sophomore Sean Donnelly (Willoughby/Willoughby South) improved his national ranking to 10th in the shot put with a season-best mark of 55-3 to finish sixth.

The other season bests came from junior Dustin Matak (Salem/Salem), who placed third and is ranked 11th in the nation in the 60 meters (6.90), and freshman Andrew Milhoan (East Sparta/Sandy Valley), who placed fourth and is ranked 13th in the nation in the 60 meter hurdles (8.31).

The meet was the final tune-up before next weekend's Ohio Athletic Conference Championships at Ohio Northern University in Ada.
