AKRON, Ohio -- Mount Union's men's track and field team competed Saturday at the Campbell-Wright Invitational at The University of Akron.

The 4x400 meter relay team of senior Ryan Kohler (Minerva/Minerva), sophomores Chase Swisher (Lewis Center/Olentangy Orange) and Tyler Mettille (Canfield/Canfield) with freshman Chad Gentry (Louisville/Louisville) won the event with a time of 3:24.11.

The same four ran to a third place finish in the 4x100 meter relay (41.96) while Swisher was also fourth in the 100 meters with a time of 10.86.

Junior Brandon Campbell (Stahlstown, Pa./Ligonier Valley) had a fourth place finish in the javelin (179-07).

Mount Union runs next Friday at the Allegheny Invitational in Meadville, Pa.
