AUSTINTOWN, Ohio -- Five Mount Union men's lacrosse players in Chris Motter (Hudson), Logan Gebhart (McDonald, Pa. / Canon-McMillan), Jacob Dodd (Ridgley, Md. / North Caroline), Alek Kungle (Hartville / Lake) and Kyle Reihner (Scranton, Pa. / Scranton Prep) were named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference teams selected by the head coaches.
Motter was put on the first team selection as a face-off specialist for a third consecutive year as the senior led the conference and was among the nation's leaders in faceoffs won (177) and faceoff percentage (.681). Motter, who was also OAC Rookie of the Year in 2018, had an OAC-best 101 ground balls this season.
Gebhart and Dodd were both first time selections earning second team this year. Gebhart was first on the team in assists (21) and second on the team in goals (28). Dodd started all 14 games being second on the team in ground balls and third in the conference with 67 and had four goals with six assists as a defender.
Kungle picked up his third honorable mention award starting all 14 games for the Purple Raiders. He was first on the team and sixth in the OAC in goals (29)
Rehiner was selected as honorable mention while starting all 14 games. Rehiner set a school record with saves in a season and led the OAC with 204 saves. Rehiner also broke the school record for saves in a game with 30 that helped the Raiders in beating Capital for the first time since the 2013-14 season.
This is the most Purple Raiders selected to the all-conference teams.
The Purple Raiders went 7-7 overall and were fifth in the OAC with a 5-4 record.
