ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's men's soccer team had four players named to the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association NCAA Division III All-Ohio Teams.
Seniors
Carter Hancock (Amherst / Marion L. Steele) and
Jamon McCort (Magnolia / Sandy Valley) were both named to the First Team, with seniors
Adam Kalvitz (Avon) and
Omar Najjar (Akron / Revere) were both named to the Third Team.
Hancock played and started in 19 games for the Purple Raiders this season and led the team in assists with nine and points with 27, he was also second in goals with nine. Hancock was also named First Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference, OAC Midfielder of the Year and was a United Soccer Coaches' First Team All-American this season.
McCort played in 19 games and started 18 for Mount Union this season. He led the team in goals and was second in points with 25 and added three assists. McCort was also named First Team All-OAC and Second Team United Soccer Coaches' NCAA Division III All-Region VII.
Kalvitz played and started in all 20 games for the Raiders this season, he recorded three assists and anchored a defense that held opponents to 0.70 games per season. Kalvitz was also named Third Team All-OAC and was named the OAC Defensive Player of the Week once.
Najjar played and started in all 20 games for Mount Union this season, he was second on the team in assists with six and was third on the team in goals with five and points with 16. Najjar was also named Second Team All-OAC and was named to the All-OAC Tournament Team.
