KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Mount Union fifth-year
Carter Hancock (Amherst / Marion L. Steele) has been named a United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Second Team All-American.
Hancock played and started in all 21 games this season for the Purple Raiders, leading the team in both goals (15) and points (33), he also recorded three assists on the season. He also broke the school record for career assists when he recorded the 26
th of his career against Muskingum earlier this season and was also named the Ohio Athletic Conference Forward of the Year, First Team All-OAC and was a United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III First Team All-Region VII selection earlier this season.
This is the second time Hancock has been selected as an All-American making him just the third Raider in program history to be a two-time All-American, joining Sam Williams (1974, 1976) and Bruce Mackey (1984-85).
This year's All-Americans will be recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony on Saturday, January 11, 2025, in Chicago, Ill., in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
