DESTIN, Fla. – Mount Union's women's golf team finished in 20
th place following the second round of the Golfweek Classic at Sandestin Beach Resort.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 665 (336-329) which has them seven strokes back of 19
th place East Texas Baptist. Hamilton and Williams lead the event with team scores of 594.
Freshman
Mya Downing (Dover) led the way for Mount Union in round two, finishing with an 80. Junior
Amanda Fedor (Uniontown / Lake) carded an 81, while fellow juniors
Kamil Stephens (Marblehead / Danbury) and
Emma Packard (Ashland) both shot an 84 to round out the Raiders team score.
The Raiders wrap up their fall season tomorrow with the final round of the Golfweek Classic at Sandestin Beach Resort in Destin, Fla.
