WESTERVILLE, Ohio—Mount Union freshman outside hitter Zoe Sweigart (Canal Winchester) was named the women's volleyball offensive player of the week for the Ohio Athletic Conference announced Monday afternoon (11/3).
 
Sweigart led the Purple Raiders to a 2-0 week including a four-set upset of No. 21 Marietta on Wednesday night.
 
For the week Sweigart had 29 kills and four blocks this week averaging 3.22 kills per set. In the upset win Sweigart had 15 kills with a hitting percentage of .265 while adding four blocks in the match as well.
 
This is the first award in Sweigart's career and the first offensive award for the Purple Raiders since 2023.
