Ava Bolen (Wellsburg, W. Va. / Brooke),
Averi Haley (Orrville),
Molly McKee (North Ridgeville) along with sophomore
Cami Welty (Willowick / Eastlake North) have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic Volleyball All-District Team.
Bolen played and started 17 matches for Mount Union as she finished with 86 kills (1.46 kps) and 60 blocks (1.02 bps) as a middle hitter earning her second CSC academic award. Bolen is a Mathematics major with a 3.87 grade point average.
Haley started all 27 games for the Purple Raiders this season as she had 548 digs (5.32 dps) and 19 service aces as the libero. Haley earns her first CSC academic award as a Primary Education - Intervention Specialist major with a 3.54 grade point average.
McKee started 23 matches playing in all 27 matches for Mount Union finishing with 223 kills (2.21 kps) and 75 blocks (.74 bps) this season as a right side and middle hitter. McKee earns her first CSC academic award as an Exercise Science major with a 3.72 grade point average.
Welty started all 27 games for the Purple Raiders this season as she had 141 kills (1.37 kps) and 75 blocks (.75 bps) as a middle hitter. Welty earns her first CSC academic award as a Psychology major with a 3.89 grade point average.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
