NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. -- The University of Mount Union's women's lacrosse team was named an Academic Honor Squad by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) along with six Purple Raiders being named to the D3 Honor Roll.

Tara Santoro (Canfield), senior
Emily Funk (Strongsville) were joined by four juniors in
Delaney Brown (Butler, Pa. / Butler Area),
Haylee Handrahan (Hilliard), Ell Nejad (Rocky River) and
Abby Reagan (Columbus / St. Francis De Sales) were named to the D3 Honor Roll which included 1,284 student athletes. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
The Raiders were one of 383 NCAA squads across all divisions to be recognized for having a team grade point average above 3.2 as Mount Union had a 3.56 team GPA.
Mount Union went 14-5 in 2025 as the Raiders won a third straight Ohio Athletic Conference regular season and won its seventh OAC Tournament title making it back to the NCAA Tournament.
